An evergreen shrub with an upright habit and spreading branches. Leaves are fragrant, narrowly elliptic, and deep green, sometimes tinged with red. From late spring to early summer, abundant double flowers are produced along the stems, with ruffled pale pink petals fading to white around dark pink centres
