A small evergreen shrub, to 2m high, with arching branches densely clothed in small, wrinkled, rather hairy green leaves. Flowers are borne in loose racemes in summer, tubular in shape with reflexed lips, to 2cm long, pale grey-blue with darker veins and a dark-edged green calyx

How to grow
Cultivation
Grow in a sunny, sheltered position in any soil, including clay. In a container, under glass, use a peat-free multi-purpose compost with added sand and place in a sunny position. Water sparingly over winter

Propagate from semi-ripe cuttings taken in early autumn or propagate by seed grown under glass in spring
