Cattleya (Brabantiae gx 'Teddy' × _luteola_)
A compact-sized, evergreen, epiphytic orchid with spindle-shaped stems - pseudobulbs. Each pseudobulbs carries one or two, apical leaves. The leaves are thick, leathery, broadly oval approximately 10cm long and 3cm wide. The flowers are large in comparison to the plants size. Flowering on terminal stems from the tips of new mature growth in autumn. The flowers are up to 10cm in diameter, usually white and pale pink with darker pink/brown spots on petals and sepals.
