A small, mid-season, dessert apple with an extensive, bright red flush over yellow skin, and crisp, juicy, cream flesh which is sharp when first picked but mellows to a good, rich flavour in storage. Trees produce a heavy crop in early autumn, fruit storing to early spring. Requires a group 2, 3 or 4 pollinator
