Valeria Valkova A medium-sized, evergreen, epiphytic orchid producing a clump of egg-shaped pseudobulbs. The pseudobulbs are covered in leaf-bearing, basal sheaths. Leaves are linear, semi-rigid, up to 90cm, long and 2-3cm wide. The plant flowers with upright flowering stems, emerging from the base of new, mature pseudobulbs in late winter and spring. Each stem carries up to twenty flowers. The flowers are 5-6cm large, orange with paler edge and darker, orange-red overlying lines. The lip is pale yellow with dark red spots and a yellow crest in the middle
