A compact, rounded shrub to about 1.2m with shiny, thick, oval leaves 2-3cm long, lime green with a central yellow splash. Leaf colour intensifies in winter and may develop orange tints. This is a male cultivar with insignificant flowers and no fruit

Cultivation
Grow outdoors in neutral to slightly acidic, moist but well-drained soil in a sheltered position. Grow under glass in a peat-free, loam-based potting compost with added grit in bright, filtered light with good ventilation
