A slow-growing, spreading, clump-forming rhizomatous perennial to around 30cm in height, with basal rosettes of lobed and toothed green leaves. Large, double, frilly, golden-yellow flowers appear on upright stems from May to June, with potentially a second flush of flowers in early autumn

Cultivation
