A tuberous-rooted perennial to about 1m, with dark stems and mid-green foliage. From mid-summer to the first frost produces pale pink blooms, darkening towards the outside and shading to cream in the centre, with long petals creating a domed shape up to 15cm across

How to Grow

Cultivation

Grow in full sun, in fertile, humus-rich, well-drained soil enriched with organic matter and general-purpose fertiliser. Pinch out growing tips to encourage bushy plants. Water freely in dry periods. Propagation

Propagate by softwood cuttings taken in spring from shoots from stored tubers, or divide the tubers, ensuring each section has at least one viable bud

Pruning
