A compact, spreading, clump-forming rhizomatous perennial to around 18cm in height, with basal rosettes of lobed and toothed green leaves. Semi-double, drooping soft pink flowers with a red calyx appear from April through to the end of May. Free-flowering in shadier areas of the garden

Cultivation
