A vigorous, compact plant with lax rather glaucous foliage to 100cm long. Flower stems are erect to 120cm, bearing up to 5 neat, small flowers well above the leaves. The erect, cupped standards are violet-blue, the flaring falls are ivory with pale violet blue veining expanding to fill the outer parts

How to Grow

Cultivation

Grow in any good garden soil that is preferably moist but not waterlogged. In drier soils, dig in well-rotted organic matter before planting then apply as a mulch each spring
