An evergreen, herbaceous perennial that reaches approximately 76cm in height. It forms clumps of arching strap-shaped green leaves and dark red-black flowers with a dark red-black eyezone and white-toothed edges above a green throat to 19cm across in summer

How to Grow

Cultivation

Grow in fertile, moist but well-drained soil preferably in full sun. Flowering is likely to be poor in shadier situations. Tolerant of heavy clay and poorer soils.
