A vigorous, tall, evergreen conifer tree, remarkable for its blue foliage. This cultivar is slow-growing from the beginning, but after 7-8 years the growth rate becomes more moderate, eventually reaching the height of up to 20 metres. A very elegant cultivar of Fir with pyramidal crown and blue, upcurved needles, 1 - 3.5 cm long. After 15 years the tree will start producing attractive, up to 20cm long, blue seed cones, turning brown when mature.
