An evergreen conifer with luminous, lime-green young foliage that contrasts with dark green colour of older growth. Needles are fairly thin, 1.5-3cm long with two greyish lines underside. It is a medium-sized conifer with approximate growth rate of 30cm per year. 10 year specimen can reach height of 3 metres and width of 1.5m. Crown is narrowly conical, broadening with age.
