Shrubs
A large evergreen shrub or small tree, up to 6m high, with narrow, glossy green leaves, tapered and shallowly serrated towards the tip. In late spring and early summer, produces clusters of small, funnel-shaped white flowers, sometimes tinted pink, from small, reddish buds. These are followed by oval-shaped berries that turn red and then black as they mature
