A high quality beet variety producing uniform, spherical roots with a deep crimson flesh. It has a full, sweet flavour and is noted for its reliability and vigour. Baby beets can be harvested when golf ball size or left to mature. It shows excellent resistance to fungal diseases

How to Grow

Cultivation

Grow in fertile, well drained soil in full sun. Sow direct between March and July into drills 2.5cm deep and lighly rake over with soil. Thin out seedlings to 10cm spacings. See vegetable cultivation
