'Stewed Rhubarb Mountain' is a clump-forming, deciduous perennial to 80cm tall with grey-green, fleshy, egg-shaped leaves that are sometimes tinged purple-red on the edges and mid-ribs. Domed flowerheads to 10cm across are borne from summer into autumn with small, greenish-white and pink flowers opening from pink buds
