Valeria Valkova An epiphytic orchid up to 30cm tall, producing clump of green, rounded pseudobulbs, carrying two green, stiff, lance-shaped leaves. Each pseudobulb is 3-6cm tall and 1.5cm wide, serving as a storage organ for water and nutrients. The leaves are evergreen, up to 15cm long and 4cm wide. The orchid usually flowers between autumn and winter on 12cm long stems, arising from the centre of the two leaves on the top of mature pseudobulb. Creamy flowers with a brown-patterned lip measure approximately 3cm
