A mat-forming, evergreen succulent producing fleshy rosettes the glossy, spoon-shaped leaves, edged with fine white hairs, are a fiery, rich, deep red. Tall spikes of starry pink flowers produced from mature rosettes, die off after flowering in summer and are replaced by new offsets
