A mat-forming, evergreen succulent producing fleshy rosettes in loose cushions, the spoon-shaped, silvery, pale green leaves with a metallic sheen, flushed pale bronze-pink in spring, are covered with silvery white hairs. Tall spikes of starry pale pink flowers produced from mature rosettes, die off after flowering in summer and are replaced by new offsets

Cultivation
