A vigorous, upright tree with long, pointed, shiny leaves and white blossom in spring. The medium-sized, oval, dessert pears have light green to yellowish green skin, with variable russetting, and firm, fine, faintly yellow, sweet and moderately juicy flesh with a pleasant flavour. Pick in mid-autumn and use to late autumn; a reliable cropper, even in cooler conditions. Not self-fertile, in pollination group 2
