Bergenia 'Summer Mountain'
A hardy, clump-forming evergreen perennial with large, oval-shaped leathery dark green foliage with coarsely hairy margins. Clusters of shortly-branched, rose-pink flowers appear on strong stems above the foliage from mid to late spring. A good choice for borders, rock gardens or as ground cover

How to grow
Cultivation
Grow in humus-rich, moist but well drained soil in sun or part shade. Grow in sun for best autumn leaf colour. Tolerates poor soil, exposed sites and shady areas, dislikes hot dry conditions. See bergenia cultivation

Propagate by division of established clumps, or root rhizomes sections in autumn or spring
