A late, dessert apple with greenish-yellow skin flushed with dark orange-red, and with variable amounts of russetting. At its best, the pale cream flesh has a good, aromatic, sweet-sharp flavour, but this requires a long, sunny summer to develop. Produces a heavy crop in mid-autumn, fruit storing to late winter. Requires a group 3, 4 or 5 pollinator
