A neat and compact, spreading, evergreen perennial with dark green, oval-shaped, toothed leaves which become a mottled green and golden yellow as they mature. Fragrant, bi-coloured flowers are cream on the lower petals, blue on the upper with a darker purple ray in the centre and dark yellow eye, appearing from spring through to the autumn
