A small, mid-season apple used mostly for cider, but also for dessert. Has yellow skin, streaked and flushed with red, and juicy flesh with a rather weak flavour. Shows a ten-pointed star, and some red staining, when cut open. Crops in mid-autumn, fruit storing to late autumn. Requires a group 3, 4 or 5 pollinator
