A cultivar bearing heavy crops of small to medium-sized apples with a golden-yellow skin flushed pale orange to red and with russet flecks. The yellowish flesh is very juicy and richly flavoured with a good sweet/sharp balance. Apples can be stored for up to three months

Cultivation

Prefers deep, fertile, moist but well-drained, neutral soil in a sunny sheltered position. Will not thrive on very acid soils, shallow chalk soils or with shade for more than half the day. May require fruit thinning to improve fruit size and quality. See apple cultivation
