A vigorous, deciduous shrub up to 2.5m high and 1.5m wide, with elongated, toothed, occasionally 3-lobed yellow variegated leaves. In early to mid-spring, bears a profusion of golden yellow flowers, 2-3cm across making it one of the most popular early-spring flowering shrubs
