Herbaceous Perennial

A deciduous, herbaceous perennial that reaches approximately 56cm in height when in flower. It forms a clump of arching, strap-like green leaves and fragrant reddish-orange flowers with a red eyezone to around 12cm across above a very large green throat in summer. Flowers bloom late in the evening and through the night

How to Grow

Cultivation

Grow in fertile, moist but well-drained soil preferably in full sun. Flowering is likely to be poor in shadier situations. Tolerant of heavy clay and poorer soils.
