A medium-sized, dessert apple with a golden-yellow base colour almost completely covered with a rough, brownish-bronze russet; the skin colour turns darker yellow in storage. The yellowish, coarse-grained, aromatic flesh is sweet with a hint of tartness and a distinct nutty flavour. Fruits hang on the trees well into winter and can be stored for up to five months
