A low-growing, clump-forming deciduous hardy perennial with succulent-like purple-grey foliage which has bright pink edging. Best in a sunny spot as leaf colour will be more green with a paler pink margin if planted in a shady position. Dark pink star-shaped flowers appear from summer through to the end of autumn. A great variety for rockeries, gravel gardens and containers
