An evergreen perennial succulent with rosettes of broad, thick, toothed fleshy grey-green leaves with a sharply pointed tip, which may be curved or reflexed. Mature plants may produce tall, branched spikes of bright yellow flowers. As the main plant dies off, there will be new offsets around the base. An ideal choice as a specimen plant for architectural impact in a coastal, exotic or urban garden and can cope with colder temperatures and drought conditions
