A small deciduous tree, to around 4m in 10 years, with a narrow, columnar habit and oval-shaped, deep green leaves. Large, creamy white flowers are produced in late spring, followed by strawberry-like fruits that ripen to pinkish-red. Leaves turn deep red in autumn
