A rhizomatous perennial, to 90cm high in flower, with upright, sword-shaped, grey-green leaves, and tall, branching stems bearing 6 to 9 flowers. Flowers have ruffled, light yellow standards faintly streaked with purple in the centre, bright white falls edged with dark reddish purple, and a yellow beard. Mid season

Cultivation
