A rhizomatous perennial, to 90cm high in flower, with upright, sword-shaped, grey-green leaves. Flowers have ruffled white standards, with a trace of violet in the centre and a fine gold edge, and faded lavender falls with a yellow beard. Early midseason

Cultivation
