A compact, rosette-forming, evergreen perennial with spoon-shaped, mealy, toothed pale green foliage with a thin, white edge. Fragrant, grey-green speckled flowers with a white edge, dark red irregular central blotches, white centre and golden yellow eye appear in early to late spring
