A dwarf, clump-forming, deciduous herbaceous perennial to around 117cm in height, with arching, strap-shaped green leaves. Spidery dark red to black flowers with yellow midribs and a greenish-yellow throat appear from late summer through to early autumn

How to Grow

Cultivation

Grow in fertile, moist but well-drained soil preferably in full sun. Flowering is likely to be poor in shadier situations. Tolerant of heavy clay and poorer soils.
