As the name suggests, a very large variety of squash trailing to a width of around 180cm, producing very large, burnt-orange fruits with thick green stems. The size makes these very suitable for carving, but the thick, sweet, yellow-orange flesh makes a delicious ingredient for the traditional pumpkin-based dishes like soups, curries and pumpkin pie. Sow in spring for harvesting summer to autumn
