An attractive 'Acorn' type of winter squash to around 60cm in height, spreading out to around 100cm. The oval-shaped fruits can weigh up to 700g and are ridged with pale orange skins and creamy-white flesh which can be used as an alternative to baked potatoes, but also used for roasting and in soups and stews. Sow indoors March to May or outdoors from May to June for harvesting from September to November. Stores well
