A deciduous, woody shrub or small tree to around 3m in height, with a rounded habit and narrow, oval-shaped, silvery grey-green toothed, velvety foliage. Small, fragrant nearly-white flowers with orange centres appear on long thin, delicate stems from late spring to early summer. A good choice for a small hedge or border
