How to Grow

Cultivation

Under glass grow in peat-free,loam-based compost, in full light with shade from hot sun and moderate humidity. Water freely in summer but keep just moist in winter. During growth apply a balanced liquid fertiliser monthly. Can be grown outdoors in moderately fertile, moist but well-drained soil in full sun in a sheltered frost-free area

Propagation

Propagate by seed, sown at 18-24°C in spring or strike semi-hardwood cuttings in summer with bottom heat
