A highly attractive, clump-forming, rhizomatous, herbaceous perennial with tall, upright, strap-like grey-green leaves. Erect stems bear elegant flowers in late spring-early summer with cream-orange upper petals, known as standards, and pink-flushed cream-orange lower petals, known as falls with orange beards
