Stolonifera Group grows strongly to 90cm if in the right conditions. It spreads by networks of stolons and is useful for its late flowering time, in autumn. Flowers are white with deep purple spots, appearing in clusters on upright stems.

Cultivation

Grow in moist but well-drained, humus-rich soil in deep or partial shade. In cold areas, a sheltered position encourages flowers before the first frosts. May need a deep winter mulch in areas where prolonged cold is not accompanied by snow cover

Propagate by seed in pots in a cold frame as soon as seed is ripe or in autumn. Propagate by division in early spring
