A vigorous, spreading, deciduous shrub, to 2.5m tall and 4m wide, with serrated dark green leaves. The large, conical flower panicles in summer, reach up to 30cm long and comprise small, green fertile flowers and white ray florets that may become tinged with pink as they age during autumn
