Prunus ‘Sumaura Fugenzo’ is an exceptional ornamental cherry distinguished by its densely double flowers, each formed from 30 or more delicately frilled petals. The petals begin in shades of white, pink and green, gradually deepening in colour as the flowers mature, adding depth and movement to the display.

The blooms are unusually intricate, with two leaf‑like pistils at the centre of each flower, enhancing their distinctive character. Flowering coincides with the emergence of young coppery foliage, which matures to green through summer before turning rich orange in autumn, ensuring interest well beyond the spring display.
