Middlefield Lavender

Middlefield Lavender is a family‑run business based in the Cotswolds, on the border of Wiltshire and Gloucestershire. Edge Nurseries

Edge Nurseries was established four years ago by a 24‑year‑old grower, Xavier Edge. The business arose from a passion for plants as a hobby and from growing a range of plants in his parents’ garden. Xavier began with lupins, which soon developed into the cultivation of a wide range of plant varieties.  It is a small, home‑based nursery located in Leek, within the Staffordshire Moorlands, offering a local delivery service to a loyal customer base. The nursery is run independently, with support from family, and has clear ambitions for future growth, aiming to become a well‑known and respected nursery.

Growing Crazy

Growing Crazy is a specialist grower of Pelargoniums with a collection of over 500 varieties collected over the last 30+ years. They are hoping to acquire a National Plant Collection status. Growing Crazy started selling online about five years ago, propagating and growing 100% of their plants. They sell plants via mail order and at plant fairs and shows. The business consists of a small team of three people who run the nursery, but with increasing in numbers at busier times.

Rosemeade Nurseries

Rosemeade Nurseries was founded by horticulturist, Barry Grain, who has over 15 years’ experience as a Head Gardener, including at RHS Partner Garden Cholmondeley Castle. Rosemeade was established as an independent retail nursery and has been trading for two years. Approximately 75% of plant stock is produced in‑house, propagated by seed,

cuttings and grafting, ensuring quality, consistency and provenance. The nursery is focused on growing resilient, well‑balanced plants suited to both gardens and exhibition.

The nursery is managed by Barry, with support from local horticultural students, combining traditional skills with the training of the next generation. Rosemeade specialises in woody plants, with particular emphasis on magnolias, acers, hydrangeas, and Aronia, alongside a broad and carefully curated range of herbaceous perennials, ornamental grasses and ferns.

The National Sweet Pea Society

The National Sweet Pea Society is a registered charity founded in 1900 and run entirely by volunteers. Its nationwide membership includes eminent specialist growers and breeders of Lathyrus odoratus and other Lathyrus species, both annual and perennial.

The Society’s aims are to disseminate knowledge of sweet peas and related species and to encourage, improve and extend their cultivation through scientific trials, exhibitions and displays, publications and educational activities.  Committee members and growers are spread across the UK, reflecting the Society’s geographic diversity.

While long‑established teams have previously exhibited at RHS Tatton Flower Show, this is a brand new group in the South of England and Wales, who are preparing to exhibit at major shows, including RHS Badminton.  Exhibition plants will be supplied by experienced growers, mentored by Roger Parsons, former National Collection Holder, and Phil Johnson of English Sweet Peas.
