• This verdant garden provided a plant-lovers paradise, where diverse foliage and flowering subjects were displayed to great effect alongside impressive mature trees and shrubs including pink and white forms of Chinese dogwood (Cornus kousa 'Miss Satomi' and 'Milky Way' and C. kousa var. chinensis)
• A selection of different and unusual Maianthemum (formally known as Smilacina and related to Soloman's seal) were dotted throughout the garden. These were supplied by Crûg Farm Plants, Gwynedd
• Visitors were able to walk through this space, which was divided into six beds, to enjoy the planting from all angles

Celebrating 60 years of the Garfield Weston Foundation, The Weston Garden was designed as a private, enclosed and romantic space to emphasise the simplest and most enduring characteristics of a private garden: a rich diversity of texture, a carefully studied balance between enclosure and openness, with an intimate retreat at its heart. It also balanced modernity with tradition by exploring different ways to use topiary. It was an exploratory space where more of the garden was revealed around each corner, and the solidity of some very large topiary made the garden partially subdivided and secret in places.

The garden featured four different entrances, providing visitors with a number of different aspects. It was a garden full of texture and variety, with a strong overarching structure of evergreens.
