Gold and winner of Best House Plant Studio

Steam. Clean. Plant. Repeat

By Geb & Green

This Geb & Green creation looks at how the UK houseplant industry could be more environmentally friendly.

The use of the laundry room shows how a peat-free growing medium can be ‘cleaned’ and recycled to grow beautiful, lush houseplants right here in the UK creating a circular economy.

The aim of the studio is to be thought-provoking, encouraging visitors to reflect on how green their houseplants are and the environmental footprint they have left behind on the journey into homes.

The Language of Plants

By ATYPICAL & GrowTropicals

The Language of Plants is a collaboration between design agency ATYPICAL and houseplant shop GrowTropicals. The exhibit showcases a new typeface incorporating the form of leaves and stems, creating a unique design language.

The planting of the pavilion is mixed with tropical and arid growing species. On the outside are arid growing plants from South America and Africa, while the inside transitions to tropical plants from South America and Asia.

The pupils of the Plant School are led by their Headteacher, Sir David Attenborough, on a mission to protect and heal our planet through all things green.

Keep Calm – Grow British

By Tropical Plants UK

The Keep Calm and Grow British studio is full of products from British brands, suitable for every member of a family to enjoy.

The space is designed by Tropical Plants UK to showcase how plants can be used within indoor spaces and balconies, whether in low-light, or brightly lit areas, to add a jungle-like edge to any interior story. Adding a health and wellbeing benefit to exercise and leisure time.

Botanical Recharge

By Botanical Boys

This is a space for busy professionals when they get home and need to recharge. Solitude can be found surrounded by hand-built terrariums, plants and treasures collected from around the world and complemented with contemporary lighting and handmade furnishings.

Botanical Boys’ exhibit shows how nature lovers, without their own outside space, are able to bring the outside in, by creating terrariums, a mindful and relaxing hobby allowing them to relax and connect with nature.
