Chaos to Coastline Coastal Garden

Smart, precise hard landscaping provides the perfect foil for relaxed coastal planting

Young Landscape Contractor & Planting Designer

Did you know...

  • The garden features many plants that grow well in coastal gardens, including fennel, agapanthus and eryngiums (sea hollies)

  • Rusted steel panels provide a plain backdrop against which the intricacy and beauty of the plants is all the more visible

  • A restricted palette of bronze, blue, green and yellow keeps the planting chic yet restful

About the garden

This coastal retreat offers a functional social space for clients to enjoy and a place to escape the hubbub of city living.

Divided into multiple areas and combining many levels, Ben and Elliott have combined crisp, sharp lines of contemporary landscaping with a free-flowing planting scheme in keeping with that of coastal areas.
