Maximillian’s Light Touch Garden

Designed for UK city dwellers, this is a garden created with a low carbon footprint. Earth brick walls replace concrete blocks and the design is mindfully minimal to ensure wildlife is catered for and plants dominate the space. It challenges us to pare back our materialistic desires and live in closer harmony with nature.

Big, bold and leafy plants take centre stage, while tall conical flowers are used to mimic the thin pillars. In keeping with the modernist style, there are bold blocks of planting, which are filled with bronzes, reds, silvers and purples, creating a strong statement.
