Join RHS Harlow Carr's Tom White to find out how to spring prune different Cornus (dogwood) varieties to get the most out of them. Tom will demonstrate a range of pruning techniques from very hard stooling, to pruning on a three year cycle, and a renovation prune. He will show you different ways to use your pruning's, including a demonstration of making decorative plant supports for climbers and propagating from cuttings. Tom will also share with you good plant combinations which help to complement the Cornus and maintain interest in a border even after pruning.
