In this evening workshop you will create a framed floral letter design using a selection of beautiful pre-pressed flowers. This workshop is ideal for beginners, providing an introduction to the craft of flower pressing and the opportunity to create your own artwork using pre-prepared specimens. Guided by professional florist Helen Cranmer you will create a fully finished and framed design ready for display; perfect as an addition to your home or as a unique personalised gift for someone special. The selection of flowers is inspired by the works of the 19th century flower painter Caroline Maria Applebee, which will be on display within the exhibition 'Pigments and Petals' taking place at the RHS Lindley Library. The workshop will include an introduction to the artworks and the opportunity for an evening viewing of the exhibition. Image: A personalised pressed flower letter design © Helen Cranmer
